I just purchased a '11 TRD Sport DblCab and I'm looking at getting a 3" lift (not sure of price) with Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/60R18's on a Fuel Hostage wheel. Right now I can find this package for about $1400-$1600 on eBay and other sites. Can anyone find cheaper? If so, where? Also, is ToyTec the best way to go? Is there better&cheaper options out there? I was told I can get this all done for about $2500. Not sure if these trucks have TPMS...gotta crack open the owners manuel this weekend i guess. Thanks advance!
    PS
Any opinions on XD or Fuel wheels???

Welcome to TW. Your font is driving me crazy.

Which toytec kit were you looking at? They offer about a half-donzen different ones.

We do have TPMS is all four wheels.

Not sure what Toytec to go with..i just need the 2.5"-3" for tire clearance. What do you recommend? Obviously the bilstein/coil overs make certain kits pricey...but what do i actually NEED? The TRD already has bilstein shocks..are they usuable with any kit??

The TRD Bilsteins (known as Bilstein HD's) are valved to dampen the stock springs. They were not designed to be used with a lift (though some still use them with spacers).

I would not recommend anything with wither spacers or blocks. For a budget friendly lift, look at Bilstein 5100's adjustable shocks, with an add-a-leaf for the rear.

imo I would go with some 17s or 16s, because the wheels and tires well cost less and plus you need more side wall on the tires if your gonna be off-roading some. btw, 18s and up are getting up there in bling bling status haha :D

Thanks for all the advice! I think I might go with Bilstein 5100 w/leaf spring over the Toytec kit. It's much cheaper, and I still would get the same results...2.5-3".

Thanks for all the advice fellas! I really appreciate your inputs...so here's my verdict:

Bilstein 5100 All around with eibach
18" Fuel Hostage wheels wrapped with 285 65 18 Nitto TRAIL grapplers.

Is anyone running this setup (or similar). Based on all the research i've done, i shouldnt have to trim anything. The circumfrence is smaller than a 285 70 17 which is what a lot of ppl run..they do say it is a tight squeeze though. Anyhow, just wanted to let you know what i've decided based on all of your inputs! Thanks again! Pics will be posted within 2 weeks... ;)
