BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
No. No. Get it undercoated somewhere else unless you don't mind rolling it into the loan.

Always get an extended warranty !!! FYI the dealers have about a 55% mark up on warranties. You can also get online for good prices , Ive heard. Grats on your new buy !!!

NO NO NO! Unnecessary additional warranty, you bought a Tacoma, 90K miles and no problems after the initial few bugs were covered by original warranty. The truck is solid. I just this morning checked valve clearance fot the first time and everyone was with in spec. Only thing your going to need to do outside of farkles/mods is change oil, add tires and brakes as needed. Only time I would consider extended warranty is if I was buying and intending on keeping a F-150 with EcoBoost past the original power train warranty and I don't even know if you can get or afford that protection.

What are you getting with paint protection? Are they going to wax it twice a year for free? Touch up rock chips and minor door dings with a touch up thingy you can buy for less than $5.00? Anything major, that's what insurance is for. Do you really want them to repaint a panel?

Look at newer vehicle that have rust problems. most of it starts from the inside of panels that didn't have adequate drainage or ventilation. Lower cab corners, lower doors because the drain holes weren't kept open, you've got rust through protection in the original warranty. They are not very likely to take the time to do this, it is after all undercoating. Is zeibart even in business, used to be in every town, haven't seen one in years. Do think that 10 years out that youll be able to cllect on the undercoating warranty. Oh, no we don't sell that product any more you'll have to take that up with XWZ. Good luck even finding XWZ.

Keep the truck clean underneath with an occasional power washing or at he car wash, something you should do even after they spray the expensive goop that can trap and hold salt and moisture.

Fabric protection? Buy a couple of cans of silicone fabric protector, that's all thay are going to use.

All the above are high cost, low value items that dealership like to foist on the customer to pad there pockets.

    My rant!

Wasnt on your list, and this might create an unwanted tangent, but a good set of floormats if you have carpet and good seatcovers go a long way.

Weathertechs and Wet Okles are expensive, but save your truck in the long run.

Ya, Weathertechs the OEM Tacoma all weather rubber mats are better than the carpet things that come with it but the Weathertechs are a major leap ahead in functionality.

Seat covers depends on use, I don't like then 'cause I grew up in an age of ill fitting crappy looking, including clear plastic seat covers and my dad had them all. I don't get mine that dirty, worst that happens is the grand kids spill and I haven't had anything that wouldn't come out. Work in a greasy, muddy dirty environment, dogs in the vehicle probably a good option. Most of my dirt was what I call clean dirt, saw dust, wood chips maybe a little soil.

Have fun with the new vehicle.

Get 3M(Invible bra) put on the front of the truck if you do a lot of highway driving. It will stop rock chips and maintain a higher re-sale value.

    My $.02

-Clear bra because it'll go a LONG way with protecting against paint chips.
-Hood protector for the same thing, and it does a dang good job of keeping rain/snow off of my windshield.
-Bed mat for anything I put in the bed, because the composite is slicker than shit.
-Roof rack for if/when I need that.
    -Tint because it's nice.

-Extended warranty because it just makes sense. You've got guys all over this website paying big bucks for great insurance coverage in case of cosmetic damage that they'll probably never use, but they're not willing to pay another $1500 for 8 years of insurance for internals because they're afraid they won't use it. Think about the guys that are able to get the driveline shudder TSB done because they're inside their extended warranty period - that's $1800 in parts and the warranty has paid for itself...

Extended warrantee companies take in $10 for every $1 they put out, add dealer markup on to that and you'll have a good idea what a great "value" extended warrantees are.

The same thing could be said for every insurance company in the world. Do you just have the state minimum for insurance or do you have more than that?

Thanks for the info I ordered the floor mats from weather tech and some mud flaps. They have a canadian site free shipping, way cheaper than the ebay weather tech . $214 for mats and $100 for 4 flaps free shipping

Not even close to true. (I work in insurance, but not for an insurance company) Their profit margins are nowhere near as fat as automotive warranty companies.

I'm not in a State, but I do carry more than the minimum required insurance on vehicles I can't afford to lose and/or pay for out of pocket.

Happy to help, seems the floor mats have gotten more expensive since I bought mine. Still I would have no problems paying what you did to get em. They have saved my carpet on numerous occasions.

I've purchased many new vehicles, never bought an extended warranty, never needed one. When you go with a good brand like Toyota with a long history of solid vehicles, you're throwing away money on an extended warranty. Even if I did need some big repair in the future, I've saved over $20k on NOT buying warranties over the years anyway.

I also wouldn't buy any of that stuff the OP listed from the dealer. You're talking about paying interest on that stuff (which I think is garbage anyway) when you could just get it done somewhere else for much cheaper.

Having said that, do what you think is best for you. Weigh your options and decide because you're the only one who knows what's best for you.
