    I wouldn't delete shit either.

You can do electronic deletes (EGR), but Ram has been all about keeping the ECM locked down or in the know if it has been tampered with. Back in the good ol' days with the 5.9L they had no way of knowing if you ran the Smarty CR.

Really, do you need more than 400HP and 1000 lbs of torque? Probably not.

    Bad ass truck!!!!!!!

Ram sure has came a long way since my 02 HO and 04.5 CR. I looked at buying one in 2016/17 and my wife told me I can buy anything other than a Dodge/Ram....or it came with a divorce. LOL.

Not sure. I doubt they would leave the ram line up. To many ram/Cummins on the road

Ram/Cummins signed a multi year extension at the beginning of this year.

This is all I can find on it, but remember reading about it.

    https://www.reliableplant.com/Read/22648/Cummins-agrees-to-Chrysler-contract

There was rumor of Ram using an Isuzu motor like what GM uses. I wouldn't doubt it with all the increased emission requirements coming in the future.

Those new Rams are nice, we own a couple 15's with the 6.4 for our contracting business....never had an issue with any of them and they get worked HARD !

Pretty sure the article you linked is from around 2010. :)

I used the Smarty CR as well. Pretty impressive programer.

Now days, there really isn't a huge drop in performance between a factory/ deleted truck (no increase in timing/fueling).

Hell, this past weekend running empty over passes in CO at 77-78 mph...

    IMG_5075.jpg IMG_5078.jpg

I've heard the new Rams do even better. How is the fuel economy on your 2019 @savin yours ? (probably don't run empty a lot)

Yeah, the article says the partnership began 21 years ago, in 1989. ;)

My wife and I are planning our next truck to be a Ram 5500... it'll be awhile, but hopefully they are still making them the awesome rig they are, including that Cummins (with a few additional improvements between now and then I hope).

Got it off the lot, but I had to find it. It must have just gotten off the truck, it didn’t have the rear trim or the mud flaps installed.

I only have around 300 miles on it, but it’s showing 16ish now.
