Just picked up a new 2017 last Saturday. Thinking the front left is out of balance as it's pulling left and vibrations at 60+. That particular dealer is over an hour away. Will I have to use them or can I use a closer one? Will they use my 5k Toyota care service on a truck with less than 400 miles on it? Just getting some ammo before I call them up tomorrow. Thanks

you can use any dealer....go to nearest one and get a tech to go ride with you and show that it pulls left...let him even drive

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
My truck had 10k on it and I took it in because the front brakes seemed grabby and they checked the alignment and it was off. The steering wheel was also cocked about 5 degrees so they would have to do it anyways but after the alignment it rolls very straight and the brake issue also went away.

When I bought my 2017 I noticed it pulled to the right, took it in with 375 miles and they covered it under warranty no questions asked.

I believe 1 alignment is done under warranty. Had mine at 3k for what I consider an unrelated complaint. Didn't notice a difference once I got it back. I suspect this is a known money source for dealers. They know they get paid for one by Toyota...so any remote chance a customer complaint could be alignment related, the do it (or maybe don't but say they do?).

At any rate...yes covered under warranty.

just got mine back tonight for a steering wheel adjustment...the second in two weeks....which was preceded by an alignment which was wayyyyyyyy out at 4000 miles on my '17

finally got it right this time

seems to be rather common but the dealers are super cool about fixing it under warranty

Mine came way out of alignment from the dealer. Took it in and got it squared away, nbd. No cost... except time.

Hmm... dealer just called and said nothing is out of spec. Asked if they do road forced balancing and they do. Guess they didn't notice the hard pull to the left the second you let go and the constant vibration when not hitting any bumps?

Mine did the same. Was out of alignment and a wheel out of balance. Have them check that too as it may be causing the vibration. Both are covered under warranty. As for them saying it’s within spec ask to see the read out and look for anything out of the ordinary. Maybe they didn’t even check it and are blowing smoke up your ass.
