Hello everyone, I have been driving an inherited '98 Taco for some time, 2.7 4 cyl 317K on it now & the little things are becoming more regular, I think It's time to buy a 2017 and I want any advise that's out there, I think i'll stay with the 2.7 and I want a 5 speed manual. If you have info to share it'd be appreciated, Oh ya, I'm a older guy with a long toyota history, if you look around the farm there's old toy vans (4wd), '84 PU, 22RE, that went 330K, Sunrader toyota powered. So I'm a Toy Fan & will remain, what caught my eye was the dessert sand paint, like zombie Apocalypse brown, ZAB, fricken love it! Thanks! GJ

IMG_0551.jpg OK, I was forced to take it easy yesterday due to lower back issue I regularly suffer from so went online to search for what dealer #1 had said was unavailable short of special order, 6-8 wks, so i start internet searching & find the double cab in dessert sand with a 6 speed manual and all the extras I wanted, nicer stereo, nav pk, heated seats, tow pk, the bed cove, for 36k with 7 mi on it, I bought it & will pick it up Friday from dealer #2. #1 didn't look very hard it was 70 mi away at dealer #2. Goes to show if you want it well done...well, just do it!
