Makes sense since your suspension will shift down a bit when you step on the brakes. I'm no mechanical expert by any means but don't rule out a suspension issue.

I would understand if it was constant but it is only about the first 200 feet or so.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    @Dunchystudios:
My '21 TRD OR doesn't grind or squeal BUT the brakes are awfully 'grabby' for the first couple of applications in the morning, probably related to our Summertime humid climate here in CT.

I'd get the rear drum's adjustment checked also, maybe came from the factory a couple ratchets tight.

Brakes never made that sound on any of my toyota pickups. Sounds more like a harmonic noise from something rubbing.

There is a little noise in reverse but not much. I only reverse out of my parking spot and then drive forward the rest of the way.

Sounds like a rear brake drum noise issue. Could be out of round, parking brake needs adjustment or some debris cough in there.

I highly recommend you find another dealer, one that will show some initiative or interest in addressing the issue and since they get paid either way, I don’t understand their attitude so that’s no bueno.

At any rate, get it looked at by a real pro and let us know the outcome.

    Good luck

My first guess would be a dragging rear shoe due to the parking brake not releasing properly.

Something rubbing up against the rotor heat shield maybe? Sounds to me the rotor shield is resonating. To me anyway it changes pitch as you move along.

Can you confirm if noise is coming from the rear drums? I might have a similar issue with brake squeak. As you can see in the video, it is clearly coming from the rear drums. 2019 TRDOR this now occurs daily at 48k miles. Happens when pulling out of garage, crawl/city traffic. Only at low speeds when riding the brakes.

I have extended warranty but dealer "cannot replicate". This video is after they have actually performed a drum brake clean/lubricate service. Additionally, the service manager even went as far as to check the axles for warpage as apparently is an issue in Tundras. No dice and I am left a bit frustrated.

At this point, I live with this noise everyday when commuting. Would love to find the issue eventually.

Cant speak to what the dealer did as I wasent there..But the shoes ride up against the backing plate and those points need high temp brake grease.
Or perhaps your pads and drums are glazed from forgetting to release the parking brake before driving. I went from 1st generation to 3rd gen tacoma and
cant claim to have never ever always released the parking brake lever..Ha!

Very true! I also was not there in the service bay to truly know what they did. Since drums need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly, I would definitely need to take a look down there myself.

It doesn't sound like typical disc brake noise, so I'd shoot for taking a closer look at the drums first. I would have to imagine you are setting the parking brake at night? If so, try reversing a bit after releasing it and see what happens. Otherwise, if it were me I would try manipulating the parking brake slightly while driving at slow speeds like in your video and listen for any changes in the sound.
If you are not setting your brake at night, try setting it hard and then letting it off.
