I had an earlier thread about the fact I was told I was getting LED headlights and fogs and they didn't make the build. I was kinda bummed about it but a few people commented that made my change my perspective on the headlights and I'm thinking it was a blessing in disguise. I was already 50/50 on the DD Max yellow fogs, so this makes them a must have now (waiting on the next sale). As far as the headlights, I think the H9 mod is the best route for me. Even though it only snows a few months out of the year, there are those days where I'll have a foot of snow on the vehicle when I need to leave for work. Halogens will eventually melt whatever snow and ice I couldn't brush off and it's cheaper to replace a bulb than an LED assembly. So I'm kind glad this was the one thing they messed up. I did try to escalate the issue and get it resolved because I've ridden in LED and Halogen Tacomas and for less than $500 it was a much needed upgrade.

    makes sense.
The DD fogs are defiantly the way to go! I have the Pro version in white and love them.

I've hit 4 deer between home and work (in a 4 year span). Night driving is a bitch when you live in deer country. The OEM LED fogs would have been good enough for that but with bad weather, snow drifts, fog, etc I figured the upgraded yellow were the way to go for me. DD makes excellent stuff. They're going to get a bit of money from me over the course of the next few months (hopefully on sale of course).

Didn't your truck come with a lot of that stuff? My 2020 sr5 access cab did. Toyota must be pumping these trucks out bare bones now. Its not like a trd or is an sr.
On another note, get some rust proofing done if in the salt belt. These frame's start rusting quicker than you can put your shoes on.

I removed the floor mats (at MSRP) because I'm going Weathertech, I removed the mud flaps (at MSRP) because they are cheaper to buy from the parts counter and self install. Header rail and auto tailgate lock are definitely not standard.

Here's my confirmed "build sheet." I probably should have included this in the original post.

For floor mats I've had Weathertech and Husky. I like Husky a lot more and have X Act Contour now. Best ever for me.

You might consider a Cat Shield. I thought I heard Toyota was installing MillerCat. If you are going to do it yourself, there are many good brands out there

    10% over dealer cost?

Wow, times have changed. Not only did I nickel & dime them on the price, I had the following thrown in, until the salesman told me there was no more meat on the bone...

    Heritage Grill
Tri Fold soft top tonneau cover
    OEM Tub mats
    Winter tire/rims package.

I literally jumped through hoops and am driving 2 states away for a truck I made them jump through hoops to get. I wasn't getting ANYTHING for free. They know I'm not walking away from the deal. If it had been a truck on the lot, I'd have more wiggle room as I could go anywhere else.

Are you comparing them to the original Weathertech floor liners or the new Weathertech HP liners (which are a little thicker and more rubbery)? I've had original Weathertechs for ages and am happy with them. The HP's are like $10 more and are supposed to be better. I've never had Husky liners. I don't have any stores around me that carry them so can't even compare them.

BEFORE you get all excited in wrapping up these trinkets into your car loan which the interest rates are insane AND which you will be paying on for...years
Do yourself a favor, price out the toyota trinkets then do the same in the aftermarket world then decide if you want to pay on that stuff...for years.

Just go ahead and order the 2 LED headlights at the lower price, and then buy the converstion harness that is sold here by others. I have led headlights on my sr5 and it was one of the best improvements ever. the harness was plug in play, no issues.

Original Weathertech floor liner vs Husky X Act Contour. If Weathertech hp are supposed to be better than original then that means they were trying to play catch up and get closer to Husky in my opinion. The Weathertech original are slippery, thin and hard vs Husky to me. Even in warm weather. To me there's no need to compare. Just get the Husky X Act Contour which I did and am very happy. Most opinions I've seen on interweb seem to agree.

They were definitely playing catchup with the HP's. I'll see if I can find some Huskys to check out. Thanks for the tip. Everyone I know has Weathertechs but everyone I know lives close enough to the Weathertech factory showroom to pick them up in person and in IL we get hammered with WT advertising. Doesn't mean they are better, it just means Husky doesn't advertise like WT does here.

I've got pretty decent pricing already for all of the stuff I'm having him provide pricing for. If the stuff is cheaper elsewhere, I'll buy elsewhere. He's going to provide a quote before I commit to purchasing. I have at least 30 days before my truck is scheduled to be delivered. My biggest issue is making sure I don't forget to get pricing on stuff I really should pick up. I have enough time to hopefully figure out the OEM stuff I'm going to need up front.

I'm not saying Weathertech is bad. I just prefer Husky. If you're happy with Weathertech and want to support local, hey, it's your money, your truck and your decision.

I checked one of the Toyota parts places and they said these won't fit the 2023 OR. It suggests the whole wiper assembly (which surprisingly is way more expensive). Just to confirm, these fit the 2023s?
