Just an Old Man Emu medium duty lift. New leaf springs for lift in the rear.

Cool. I did an progressive (three leaf) add a leaf rear lift and it didn’t help.

They’re starting to squeak so I’ve been eyeing new springs…

    How was the load capacity?

I have a camper shell and haul wood time to time and pretty much max out my current set up.

I never hauled anything that heavy in the bed. I had a 14' aluminum Lund on a galvanized trailer with a 35 horse outboard that I towed regular and didn't phase it but even that was not very heavy as far as tongue weight. My OME springs squeaked too, they all do. Just need to clean and lube them once a year.
