    My belt was slipping on my 1st dyno with the 65mm pulley.
    Had to get a smaller belt but only comes in an eight rib that I cut into two 4 ribbed belts,
    Gates HD belt
    Did dyno pulls today at 5 pounds of boost at 6000 feet.
    my intake supercharger temperature was 120 degrees on the exit side of the supercharger,

    298HP and 314TQ.

    my intake supercharger temperature was 150 degrees and 287HP and 300TQ as the supercharger started heating up.

    1320 runs much more efficiently putting more power with less boost and less heat less rpms compared to the old supercharger thats maxed out

    My sweet spot is 11.5, my tune was done while driving pushing a wall of air at 50-70mph so the dyno will be a little different with no wind resistance.
    the dyno here was in 4th gear pushing 115mph

    It was 278hp and 305 TQ on a ported 1.9 pulley and 9 pounds of boost screaming and getting heat soaked.
    The 1320 is putting out better numbers all the way around and is not breaking a sweat

    Many Thanks John for sharing your SC experience and knowledge. I'm pretty much a novice in this area, so I have much to learn!

    Anyhow, I own a 1998 Tacoma with 3.4L, AT, 4X4, and 350K miles. It is in good mechanical condition, but other than normal timing belt changes, plugs, wires, coil packs, valve cover gasket service, new alternator, and a new flywheel, the motor is all original.

    I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a TVS1320, but I'm not sure I'm ready to swap-out the 75 mm pulley, 7th injector, tune, and other mods...at least not yet (unless the benefits FAR outweigh the costs/risks). While I'm sure to appreciate the added HP and torque in routine driving, my main goal is to gain some trailer towing improvement.

    Are there any "absolutes" that you would recommend in my situation when buying a new SC?...fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc.?

    You probably should add an fmu from snpspeed.com or you can add later but definitely fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, and if possible have injectors cleaned

    I saw this kit too on their website and it looked like it covers the basics I need. I'm wondering though, since I have 350K miles and it probably makes sense to replace my tired old injectors while they're more easily accessed anyhow, would it make sense to go ahead and install new ones with a little more fuel flow? If so, could I run on the standard OEM computer/tune or would different injectors force me to get a new tune? (I don't know any shops in my area that could do this and I'd rather not mess-up the Magnuson SC warranty) Or, maybe it's best that I just replace with new or refurbished OEM injectors?

    Your ECU is designed to run on the injectors you have,
    If you put let’s say 300cc the ECU doesn’t compensate for the larger size and might run rich.
    Some people have had luck tho.

    I would have your old OEM injectors rebuilt by motor west in California for 125.00 a few days turn around.

    if you go with a stand alone you can tune and put larger injectors, 650cc if you want

    Gabe Salazar once again has come out 1st with another high performance pulley for the 1320 and 1st tune!
    Gabe has been working hard getting this new pulley available and getting it tuned to see what the results are for every ones info with my tune at my 6000 feet!
    My 1320 Setup is stock OEM cleaned injectors, that show an injector duty cycle at 75-85 percent on my haltech can gauge, SNP FMU, AEM340 fuel pump, two step cooler plugs, 5 speed at 6000 feet with 7.2 pounds of boost with HALTECH ECU.
    The new 60mm pulley will be available as snpspeed,
    Also recommending the HD GATES belt 080610HD,
    This belt only comes in an 8 rib but if cut in half you end up with two 4 ribbed belts.
    The Heavy duty Gates belt has less tendency to stretch and will last longer.
    There were no issues with any slipping with this setup.
    Dynos in 4th gear!
    On dyno jet system
    Well the 300hp mark is now history AND an impressive 326TQ at the rear wheel that will be available for everyone!
    HP gains +6 were not alot but torque gains were good +12. Close to the gains of a set of headers but a lot cheaper.
    The 60mm boost gains over the 65mm were 1.7 pounds at 7.2 pounds at 6000 feet, 304HP-326TQ
    The 65mm was at 5.5 pounds at 6000 feet, 298HP-314TQ
    BUT
    My biggest surprise was that the boost at higher elevations from my 6k feet going up to 8k feet, 10k feet, 12k feet were actually a lot more power because the boost cap has been moved higher from 5 pounds to 7 pounds for my situation.
    What does these mean?
    Stock pulley 75mm pulley at 6000 feet is 1.5 pounds :(
    The 65mm pulley at 6000 feet is 5.5 pounds and at 8500 feet is around 3.5 pounds.
    The 60mm pulley at 6000 feet is 7 pounds :) and at 8500 feet it’s at 5 pounds of boost.
    The lower boost numbers 1-4 are more efficient than the higher boost numbers I’m thinking because more heat being generated at higher supercharged speeds.
    So there is a big difference in useable power per boost the higher you go with the 60mm pulley.
    Definitely a pulley to get especially if you’re running at higher elevations.
    Higher elevation will show greater gains because more boost is available sooner.
    I’m not sure what the effects are at sea level and will be interesting to see from another member.
    Side note the TVS1320 with winter temperatures coming in at 20-30 degrees is pretty large compared to summer temperatures of 70-90 degrees! 10-20hp I bet difference depending, FYI.
    IMPORTANT!
    PLEASE READ!
    Magnuson did a snout redesign after the initial supercharge run to accept smaller pulleys after my results were reported back to magnuson at the 6-12,000 feet.
    Magnuson decided to do a snout redesign to accept smaller pulleys that would be needed at higher elevations AND a location to strap off the throttle cable hole on the snout, I didn't get cable holder for that tho.
    So the 1st small batch of 1320 snouts had a much beefy snout compared to the redesign snout that’s now being used.
    The 1st Initial snouts the smallest pulley can be a 65mm,
    The current redesigned 1320 snout will accept a 60mm pulley.
    Look to see what snout you have if you decide to get a 60mm pulley.
    The snout shown here is the newer snout that I swapped out with the 60mm pulley.
    Below are the 65mm and 60mm pulley comparisons and a 60mm dyno results at around 70 degrees 6000 feet.

    Turbo will always Trump with power but supercharger is 4 hours and installed and plug and play and your good for 100k plus miles
