Hey all! First post here as a member but have been stalking the forums for years.

How do these alignment numbers look???

This last Saturday me and a buddy spent all day cutting off the old seized lca, cutting off old cam tabs, welding on KPoffroad cam tabs, installing new oem lca with KPoffroad cam alignment kit, and installing JBA high caster uca. Took us 12 hours total with our lack of mechanic experience lol!!! Great learning experience though.

These are the alignment numbers I had before (with almost no caster angle over zero and negative camber ) and a pic of numbers after the upgrades. With the new alignment kit it took the tech nearly 4 times as long as a normal alignment to get things looking decent. He said this was the absolute best he could get the camber numbers. I’m really happy with the toe, and caster angle of 3.5 degrees though.

Will this amount of negative camber be ok in the long run?

Welcome to Tacoma World. I would not think that camber is ideal. You're gonna chew up the tires something fierce. How much lift do you have?

Did you or the alignment tech swap out the octagonal cam plates to change the LCA positions? Swapping those out definitely takes time and labor which you probably know now. Maybe the alignment tech gave up after a few tries and didn't want to really spend the time dialing it in?

Personally I'd make some changes. Caster and toe looks OK but I'd shoot for something closer to zero camber or at most like a tenth (±0.1) either direction, i.e. between -0.1 and 0.1.

I have 2” of lift up front with Bilstein 5100/OME 884 coilovers. I set the octagons to the manufacturer recommendation for a starting point when I installed the new lowers, but then the alignment tech moved them again to try and get them in spec. They told me it was a struggle since they’ve never used this type of alignment kit before. It’s the best local shop I’ve been to but it might be worth it for me to make a trip to an off-road shop somewhere. My options are just pretty limited here in southeast Idaho :/

Are you on factory uca/lca? If so you won’t get camber in spec with that amount of caster. You’ll eat up the outer edge of the tires with that much positive camber. Sorry that would be the inner edge its negative camber you have.
