So my new JBA's went in on Monday, love them. The ride has gotten so much smoother it's amazing. Every pothole doesn't feel like I'm going to lose my passenger tire... Now I did not realize I was sitting on some blown-out SPC's. a little digging and I found that you can replace the ball joints on the SPC's, which I wish I knew before or else I wouldn't have gone and bought new JBA's (but ya live and learn)! The SPC's are pretty badly rusted on the nut, so I'm trying to soak them, and get them off so I can replace the joints, giving me essentially a backup pair of UCA's?? Worth the work?

New Fox 2.0's are coming somewhat down the line, as my Toytecs are more than 4 years old, and very badly seized for NE winters (They don't look pretty)

A trick for stuck fasteners is to heat them up with a torch and put some wax against it. The wax will wick into all the nooks and crannies.

Would have been a lot easier to break that bolt loose when it was on the truck. They are torqued to 160ft lbs if I'm remembering correctly.

After soaking in WD-40 for three days and breaking two breaker bars, I had to cut off the nut on my old SPC’s.

Worth the work for having a backup pair though
