New user name with a 3.4L tech question

Hey again, 02TACOTRD is now Aught2TaCO, as if you cared to know that. Now, my tech question... Is there a mod to relocate the oil filter so it sits vertical? I really really don't like where it is now on the side of the engine block, it ain't logical to me. I'm used to my old GM Vortec V-6 with the best filter placement evar, and I haven't scoured the site for my answer, I'm just throwing it out here. Thanks for reading and TIA for the answers!
