    Eric,

Any knowledge if this will work on a 5th Gen 4Runner?

Unfortunately I can't tell you if it would work on the 4Runner since I don't have one to mess with. I would think the issue would be accessing the space behind the door.

I can't belive its not already built in for the money they want for these vehicles. Yes I know it's only a deterrent but I never owned a vehicle that didn't already have a lock mechanism until I got a Toyota.

I really like this idea. I may be a guinea pig for the 5th gen 4Runner. Need to do a little research first...

Very nice. I like this a lot. If I had the extra cash to spend, I'd be interested. I'll add it to the hopefully future mod list for sure.

got my kit today! YEA, now, to heal from surgery so I have use of both hands, only 8 more weeks to go before I can use my hand!:(
ordered my VW dash button, I liked yours so much I'm going to copy. thanks again I will ask, I see the button is a 4 prong, I'm assuming you only used 2 of them.

I' ve been looking for the answer and I know I saw it somewhere but I just want to verify that you can install this in a 2014 by accessing it through the rear wheel well. If so ( I think I saw where it was just a tad more difficult) I'd like to purchase a kit.
