Measurements from my '18 are about:
- 74 cm from bed rail to very top of X1
- 6 cm from top of center cab to bottom of overhang of X1

Running lights are like your taillights when you have DRLs or headlights on. About half illuminated power until you are braking.

 

ah duh thanks. Sometimes the simple stuff slips past.

 

and in black camo, never can have enough of that. pricey but seems like solid stuff. Another guy that makes good made Roaming Lost Bug nets for the rear and soon to be sides. That will be clutch if you ever are near water. Ran the white rim trail last year and it was miserable with mosquitos and bugs.

That's one thing I still need to look into. Seems like a lot of the options for dealing with added weight also add height. I'm going to have half to and inch of clearance to get in my garage. With the added complication of needing my setup to carry a hitch mounted moto that will add some weight. But I won't have that all the time. So if the truck rides higher without it I could have an issue.

 

Time to buy some sandbags to toss onto the rack when the moto isn't on there so you can make it into the garage.

 

It may come to that, but hopefully not!
