They have enough orders to keep them busy and can get away with it. Employees are expensive. I wish it was different but I get it. Super Pacific will get there, GFC spent a lot of time there before they hired several customer service people.

I have a set of the older style, they are rusty and mediocre.

If I were you I’d try to see if I could get @In4aride , @RCI-Offroad or @At The Helm to get in the business of making bed rails semi local to you.

Yeah makes sense. I guess you can't always scale up.

I think with the SP (Super Pacific) it will be much easier to scale up. Get a shop to make hundreds of the fuselage sheet metal pieces, get some rivet machines and a few workers. Doesn't require a high skill level to operate a rivet machine.
I also imagine the fixturing is much easier than a welded assembly. For example if the vagabond is welded, it requires skilled aluminum welders and skilled fixturing, it also takes much longer to assemble versus a riveted assembly.
They also have way less options which streamlines the process, for now.

We can only wait and see.

Once they get going i bet there IG will blow up with pictures they will want people to know there are other options and styles of wedge campers on the market and potentially faster lead times if it all works out. I been in selling mode, just sold my RTT and prinsu rack last night. now i need to sell my sungtop to make room for this shell.

I know that feeling. I sold my RTT, Prinsu rack and SnugTop shell last year within a week so I could make a deposit on a Vagabond lol! A little over a year later and I sold my Vagabond spot yesterday lol!

nice, its also a great design what i originally wanted. been fallowing it since the beginning. I Just cant wait 13+ plus months for a camper granted they got screwed with covid it seems and or there suppliers it seems has caused delay's outside there control.

jumped on the super pacific, due to price and the side access being included vs having to add 800-1600 to the price.

edit: removing to not cause confusion

edit: worth noting that I've seen both the proto and Roaming Lost model in person and have done some extensive walkthroughs on both.

I'm waiting to sell any of my stuff.
I think November is optimistic, well see, but I wanna keep my set up as close to the date as possible so I can make trips once the forests open up.

They’re pretty quiet too. Few posts here and there, but probably busy getting to it.

Quiet on the email front as well, I still haven’t gotten an actual invoice or heard back from them since I paid in August

Yeah, I'll arm chair a bit here LOL.
I do hope they actually finalized the design for the taco bed. If so, I hope they're keeping the press brake operators busy bumpin all the shells. They've hired their kids, kids friends and brothers to rivet the skeletons,
They got the ovens warm n ready for powder, they got guys assembling tents and the whole wabang. Idk anything about labor laws though haha. I do believe their design allows for easier scaling. I can only hope well see em coming out soon.

Sounds like you know quiet a bit. Thanks for sharing! Glad to hear they have someone handling all the orders, paperwork etc. It is nice to have one of the designers / creators respond to emails send out orders but I'm sure his time is best spent on production and design.

I have not sold anything yet but have started to pull stuff off the truck. I have bed setup and electrical so cant pull the shell just yet until I figure that out with upcoming rain season but the sniff of needing to sell prinsu has everyone hitting me up.

lol haha i get it. so i posted it last week on TW then FB had a guy hit me up 20 mins after posting it up. taking both tent and rack. i had like 10 messages for just the prinsu rack.

luckily i did all waterproof electrical in the back only have 1 line ran for the fridge set up. Might have to add more. Deciding if i want to run solar with my dual battery set up. Once i get my topper sold my plan is to clean up and seal and try and upgrade the side rails in the bed. In prep for the camper. Might also through in 12 shocks and finally doing the bamf hangers.
