Ok my new wheels and tires came in. As I am installing them with the lugnuts they sent me, doesn't seem to be much thread to grab only 5 turns. Am I missing something?

Wrong lug nuts for those wheels would be my guess. You probably need the ones with the extended shaft, not just the taper. You could check your local auto store, or just hit up @YotaDan at Wheeler's Offroad. He'll take care of you.

They are called ET Lug Nuts (extended thread). They should be available at most auto larger parts stores, but x2 on Dan @ wheelers. Don't run your new wheels until you have the correct lug nuts or you run the risk or ruining the wheel, the thread on the lug, or worse!

Ok so et nuts won't have the bevel on them right or will they because the ones they sent with the wheels are tapered to match the the hole. I feel like a dumb ass here

They will. The ones I have look like these (don't mind the measurements). You can see that they still have the tapered base, but have an extra collar that actually gets threaded between the wheel and the threads of the lug. They're made by Gorilla, I got mine at 4 Wheel parts.

I don't think that's gonna do it. The wheel looks thicker than oem. I think the best thing to do for strength is get longer studs.

The mounting area of the wheel is about the same thickness of oem wheel it's just that the oem wheels use the lug nut that has the shoulder that goes into the wheel.
