I have found a good deal on some 2015 4runner rims that come with new sensors. Supposedly taken off @ 500 miles. These are the wheels:

My question is: Can the sensors simply be reprogrammed for my tacoma or do I need tacoma specific sensors?

2009 dcsb off road as it currently sits:

What I did....last year I dumped my OEM wheels

Bought new tire/wheel pkg from DTD...then

went to local tire shop & had the new after market sensors programmed

prices will vary of course.....think I paid $10 all four......but got a bad sensor

had to get replacement....then go back.......what a PIA.......my next set

screw the sensors..save $100 plus the programming BS.....rubber stems !

yes ......warning light on dash lights up......cover with a sticky coaster pad

Thanks Utah, I have found that the sensors that come with these 4runner wheels can be used but do need to be reprogrammed. Since these sensors are used and a few years old, I'm considering just buying 4 new sensors.
