I want to maintain stock tire size and will probably go to C-rated Duratracs if I "upgrade" tires because I refuse to put 50lb E-rated tires on my truck. E-rated tires are simply overkill unless you are Rock Crawling in a SAS rig. I've had duratracs in the past and they perform outstandingly offroad, in snow/ice, loose dirt and rock, but also on wet pavement which is where I had trouble with other aggressively treaded AT tires in the past. However the TRD OR stockers have done everything and more than I thought they would. I'm surprised they have not blown up yet as I've beat the hell outta them on jagged shale rocks in canyon country at high speeds (30mph+), driving over old rotten logs, cacti, thorn bushes, mesquite, etc.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. But I plan on doing a mild lift (885 in the front, 5100's and an AAL in the rear) so I think I can get away with the 265/70/17 and still keep the front deflector and mud flaps. Would be nice if they offered more sizes with a C load.

How far do the tires stick out past the fender/wheel well? Can't tell exactly with the angled shots without a straight shot from the front or back. Thank you!!
