New wheels too wide ????

    deck plate mod, cold air scoop, K&N, fog light mod, aux. lights,
    I bought these off craigslist. They are 16x10's. A little too wide. I like the style but they look like balloons. I'm gonna relist and look for 16x8. They have 265/70/16 on them now. Until i lift it i'm kinda stuck. What kinda problems will these give me if i keep them besides look kinda stupid. Sorry about the dark pics, it just got dark here. :(

    16X10 should be great with the correct tire, what size do you want to run, i have 15x8 and wish i had 15x10 with 32 or 33 x 12.50 so what tire do you plan to get

    04 Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab SAW 2.0's Alcan's Ion 171 wheels 15x8 (-27mm bs) 32" BFG AT's
    10" wide wheels are not optimal on these trucks that have minimal/no lift. ....8" is what you want.
