I was done with 12.5 to 13 mpg on the 2004 F150 supercrew 4x4 so It was time to go with the sweetness. I got a 2007 TRD Sport Double Cab in indigo ink. I am going to put a small 3" lift on it and slightly larger tires, but not looking to go crazy and want to keep MPGs looking good. We are on our way to Hawaii shortly and gas prices are no joke.

thanks everyone looking forward to the site. I am looking at some 5100 to get 1.75-2.5" lift right now or a 3" block/plate lift.

I am going to do a search on how good the pro-comp over strut 3" plate lift is. Seems like an easy install not having to compress the coils, right? Want to see if it is any good.

The 5100 have a great following and may be an option, but my stock bilsteins are like new and seems like it is a harder DIY compared to the pro-comp plate.

    Thanks again for the welcome

    Welcome

Got to love the Indigo truck.

I have a OME lift waiting in the garage and am getting 255x75x17. Larger tires but it will keep the gas costs down.

Thanks gents, I am leaning towards the 5100, I don't need a true 3" lift. Just want to get some taller rubber, but not huge as I don't want to sacrifice MPGs.

The 5100s seem to be the cheaper way, but may not be the easiest way.
