    Hi,

Been lurking these forums a bit now for info and ideas on modding my humble 08 X-Runner, so thought I'd join the community and introduce myself.

I'm a local truck driver for a living, so driving is what I do. A few years ago, when I was shopping for a used Tacoma, dependable lil beasts that they are, I came across a small dealership with a few to offer. I came thinking I'd get a TRD Sport or something. There was a nice raised red Off Road edition sitting front and center on the lot, but off to the side, as if she was nothing special, was a black X-Runner looking all mean. Never knew they made Tacomas that way so, my interest gained, I took her for a test drive. Thinking she was just a fancy looking pickup truck I dropped into 1st with a decent amount of gas. The tires spun, oops. I fell in love.

I know street trucks aren't considered "real trucks", but I drive a 12-40 ton truck for a living, so I think I got that covered. My 4-wheeler is a fast contradiction of form and I want to make her faster.
