Ok from everything you posted about why your are leaving Long Island, I can say Arizona is almost the exact polar opposite. That is with respect to the traffic at time, it's not bad for the most part but like today. Nobody know how to drive if the skies aren't clear and sunny.

I don't know much about quad ridding in Tucson, but it's smaller than Phx so more rural areas are closer for you to enjoy. I'm sure there are TONS of places to go, but check out Coronado National Forest's website for a good line on ridding areas.

Welcome again to AZ you will like it here, now why are you moving in Aug and not now. Temps are perfect, Aug is going to be in the 110-120*

 

well im in process of selling my home and waiting for my son to finish school thus year. also he is a student of tae kwon do. and in august he is taking his blackbelt test. so im waiting for that. he has worked hard for it so i gotta let him do his thing. besides he is 10 and dont wanna move and that would really be icing on the cake lol.

Another thing you won't have to worry about here is your truck rusting out from all the salt and snow...maybe melting a little in the sun, but no rusting LOL
