I've been lurking on the forums for a bit and decided I might as well join and contribute. There is a lot of great info on this site and being that I'm a newb when it comes to Tacos I greatly appreciate the community. I have always driven lowered sports cars but loved the 1st gen Tacoma so I sold my 01 is300 and picked up a lifted 2001 TRD. Got a great deal on it but have big plans...

Here is a crappy cell pic but you get the idea..

To be completely honest I'm not sure what's been done suspension wise but I did climb under it and determine the struts are Rancho. I was told by the guy I bought it from the lift is all suspension-no body.

You could be right but I was told by the previous owner that it did not have a body lift.. He did not do the work so who knows. I'll be completely honest I'm very new to the offroad game... I'm a fast learner but not too informed yet.

Haha! I'm not really sure what wheels I'm going to get but they will definately be 15's, black and most likely alloy. Shopping around right now.. Really like the look of beadlock wheels but not sure if that's the right route to take.

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes guys. This is a pretty friendly forum and a great resource.
