I think all you would have to do is take one of the outlets and direct wire it. The hardest part would be getting to the back side of the outlet.

hahaha.....yea it does. I have had a lot of the chevys over the years and loved all of them. I am glad I went with the Taco now. There are not a lot of Tacomas running around here for sure.

Yea......I got rid of my 2500 hd crew that got 10.8 MPG but would pull like hell. Now I get about 16.8 and still pull what I need to just fine. I have always got access to a bigger truck if I need to tow something heavier.

Yeah my dodge would pull like a champ too, haven't gotten to test the towing on this truck yet but it sounds like i won't be disappointed. And it's not hard to borrow a bigger truck if needed, like you said.

And by the way, about how much did those moto metals run you if you dont mind me asking? I like those wheels a lot.

I bought them at 4wheel parts in jacksonville fl. I would take them off but my little girl would have a hard time getting in and out of the truck then. I wish I would have bought a set of sliders. I would never use them for sliding over rocks and things but they look better IMPO.

I bought the wheels and tires off of craigs list. I got a he'll of a deal on them. I got the whole set up with lug nuts cheaper than I could have bought just the tires for at the tire shop.

Well.....I decided to put my big boy pants on and step up and do the BHLM. The lights were actually not that hard to get out. So far i have the lights out, apart and painted. I will start putting them together in about an hr. here are a few pics of the progress so far. I will update when I finish it up.

I got the headlights back on the truck. :D I did have one small mess up on the lights so far. I wiped the inside of the lens out before I put the lights back together. I missed a small spot where a bead of sweat had landed. It is not to noticable and I am sure I will address it in the future but not today....LOL

Here are a few pictures of the finished product.

question, when you put the leveling kit on, what is the front setting? It looks slightly higher than the back.

The front is at 2.5" and is higher than the back. It is an optical illusion.....LOL. The front is about 1" higher than the back. I am still debating whether or not to do an add-a-leaf to level it back out.

Well I just ordered myself a Access Limited roll-up tonneau cover from Truck Alterations.com. The gentleman there was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He absolutely had the best price anywhere that I could find. I asked about some other items also and he gave me more information on the products than what I had thought to ask. I will also post up some pictures later on in the week when I recieve it and get it mounted.

Here is a link to the website.

Here is a youtube video of the one I purchased. (except its for the Taco.....:))

Well I have been wanting to install a new stereo. I wanted one with Ipod and BlueTooth. I ended up getting a JVC KW-AVK840. This thing is great. I can let the kids watch TV while we are cruising around. I can control the Ipod from the steering wheel controls. The Blue Tooth works great. I pulled the frame and AC cover off and Plasti-dipped them. I think it looks better IMPO.

Here are a few Pics of the stereo box that the unit came in.

I built a new Speaker box for the 12" speaker. I can tell the difference between this box and the other smaller box the speaker was in. This thing hits harder now than it ever has. Here are a few pictures of how it has turned out so far. For now all I have done s to plasti-dip the box. I will probably carpet it a little later on but it is ok for now.

    New speaker boxs home...:)

The new Access unlimited tonneau cover came in today :). This thing is NICE!!!!!. It even came with a tail gate seal. It was fairly simple to install except for taking the rails off the driver side on the truck. The bolts were so tight I could not get them to break free with the torx 30 bit. I ended up getting a big punch and hammer out and having to hit the head of the bolt about 5 or 6 times each and then use a pair of vise grips to break the bolts free. Other than that it is a fairly simple install. Here are a few pictures of it installed on the truck. What I really like about this cover is that the rails are still functional. I will get a bed mat now so I can put things in the back and not have to worry about them sliding around.
