Hey, thanks for having me. I added a 98 Taco to the stable a few years ago. It joins my diesel-powered Samurai. The Sammy is pretty well built-up, the Taco not so much- open diffs and all. The front diff is shot, but I bought one from the junkyard and am swapping it in now. I've taken the Taco to Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park- and would love to go again. I also hit Pinto Canyon Road, by far the most remote location of the three. All three spots were spectacular. Looking forward to hearing from you and hitting the trails!!

    Thank you all.

Love your sig, Over Da Hill- "Everything in Moderation, Including Moderation" great quote!

Yep, twins butsack. I am indeed running 35x10.50s on the stock suspension. They rub the frame the tiniest bit at full-lock. I could fix that with wheel-spacers but the turning radius is so tight anyway, I haven't bothered. I'm jelly of your auto-trans. Years of off-roading have convinced me auto-trans is the way to go- down-shifting has gotten me stuck twice and almost killed me once.

Natas the mischief monkey, that's a fine tatt and a sweet racebike. I have 7bikes, most noteably 2 Yamaha YSRs, 1 stock and the other street-legal with an AT1 125cc 2-smoker (starter-generator!!).

Sorry I'm late responding, I somehow didn't subscribe to this thread.

If you want to get an auto trans I'll take your manual trans. This is the exact truck I want (green, manual, 4wd) Looks great!

Well thank you Brett! The paint is so faded I'm thinking about rhino-lining it, but in "jungle green," basically the same shade. I might make that trade- after I replace my failed front diff..
