I am looking for options to mount Baja S2 pods for camping/scene lights to the sides of my truck. I don’t really need a roof rack right now, can I mount them directly to the roof rack? Or do I need to put on rails of some sort to mount them to?

I am looking at the same pods mounted to the bumper for reverse and extra light at the back of the truck.

Sides and bumper all on their own switches. Should I add one more switch for a future front light bar while I am in there?

Sure, if you drill holes through your roof.
