hey folks, I'm a newbie and have taken a look a mileage issues. I can't wait to take full advantage of all the information available in tacomaworld.

I have a 2007 4 banger extended cab. Getting a measured 21.9 in surface street driving. I'm hoping to improve upon that with the addition of an AFE dry filter and removal of the secondary. We'll see.

    I'll keep ya'll posted.

first let me say I appreciate all the welcomes. nice to be aboard.
I haven't measured my tank yet but I notice more pep when I do use
the pedal. I've been using the AC more the last few days so if my mileage
doesn't go down from 21.9 I'll feel vindicated in the air filter purchase.

I'll be looking at new rubber soon, perhaps the selection will make a difference. I do use my tacoma to tow my boat fishing at locations around here in central fl. so I don't want anything to slick. I already have encountered some slippage at steep ramps.

Mosquito Lagoon here by the Space coast is a beautiful place even when I don't catch any fish worth keeping. I seem to specialize in salt catfish and rays, neither of which are much fun to have around.

I've been considering a truck tent and Lakeland seems to have a good setup.
