Newbie from So Cal

Probably the WORST part about summer in Southern California; the Open. What a stain on the city of HB..sadly I went to it again this year and was thoroughly disappointed in the image it gave our 'surf city'. And to top it off the video CNN was running was titled "Surfers Riot, Clash with Police". COME ON! any true surfer would have been down on the sand WATCHING THE FUCKING competition right?! lol
Puts a bad taste in my mouth. "If you took the 91 to get here, GO THE FUCK BACK HOME!"

Haha. I wanted to give an up and coming company a chance and they have been doing really well. They remind me of Camburg's early days when they started in a garage and then they moved thier way upI into a full fabrication shop!

 

Thanks! I was out there at the 500 too, pitting in Colonet around RM 330 where there were a few accidents. This last race was a tough one. Too many unfortunate incidents But despite all that happened, I still had an awesome time... got to prerun the start to Ojos, and get attacked at contingency while throwing stickers out to the crowd. Good times! Want to go visit soon. I know I'll be out there for sure again in Nov for the 1000, hopefully...... racing our class 11! But if not, I'll still be out there supporting our friend's class 1 and pitting with Mag 7. I LOVE BAJA

I know what you mean. It's freaking sad what image was portrayed because of a bunch of dumb kids. I am proud though, in what the community has done to support Easy Rider and others affected in the riot. It's awesome to see everyone team up against the stupidity of visitors.
