I was originally looking for a used Crossover/SUV because I thought they were a great middle ground between off-road capability/space and MPG good for camping and daily driving but have recently fallen in love with the Toyota Tacoma. I'm not a big car person much less a truck person but I'm here to fix that and to get into it as much as I can to find out what's best for me.

What is you like about the Tacomas? How will you use the truck? How big is your family?

They have a great reliability and are incredibly good on space for their size while not being too much of a learning curve to drive than going from a Chevy Malibu to a full size Toyota Tundra. I'm mostly looking to hunt, go on trails, and camp on most weekends while also using it as my daily driver. I'm currently enrolled at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega and intend to use this trucks capabilities to its fullest in the mountains. I am only 19 and don't have a family to worry about as they're all in NYC or Texas, maybe just a few friends who'd join me camping and such so for the moment the Tacoma is a good investment.

Good info. My recommendation would be to look at a good 2nd gen SR5 4x4. I would suggest the DCSB configuration. Get some good AT tires and have a blast.
