Thanks. I’ll probably just add the deaver aal when I replace the shocks. Get it all done in one setting.

Alright so one more question for you all. I ordered 5100s front and rear with the OME 883 spring. I also ordered the single Deaver AAL. The 883 is said to lift the front of my AC 1.25”. The single Deaver AAL says it will lift the rear 1.5” to 2” but from what I’ve been reading, it seems to lift the rear closer to 2”. My personal preference would be to retain just a little rake. I’m afraid not adding anything in the back with the 883 springs up front will be a little too level and may even appear slightly bro. But I think using the single AAL will rake it even more than it is now stock (anyone correct me if I’m wrong in that assumption). I want to stay away from blocks but here’s an idea I want to run by you all. What if I add the single AAL and remove the overload leaf?? Pros? Cons? Thoughts? Comments? Advice? Would ride quality be killed? Just looking for minimal rear lift (~1”) not using a block.

    Once again, thanks!

Remember that leaf springs tend to settle much more than coil springs in the front. So, even if you do get 2" from the AAL, that is just what you will get initially. It may settle to 1" eventually. If you haul a heavy load or two it will settle no doubt. If you don't add the AAL you will definitely be nose high. I have Bilstein's up front set at .85 with original leaf springs and I'm damn near level. I think you've got a good plan and should lift both the front and rear. You will have rake similar to a factory truck, but I like rake, especially if you intend to use your truck to haul anything at all. Might ride a little firmer no doubt, be prepared for that.

That’s sound advice. Thank you. So you think it’s alright to leave the overload leaf in as well then?

Nice looking truck you have there. Very similar to mine... 2014 MGM AC 4x4 SR with 265/16/75's. I added the 5100's all around but kept everything else stock. I had the front shocks set at the .85" perch setting. It sits almost level (very slight rake still). Our truck usage seems about the same as well. Some light offroading but nothing hardcore. My plan eventually is similar to yours. I really want a minimal lift but with quality components. So i'll eventually do real aftermarket springs up front and some sort of small lift leaf pack in the rear. For now it's perfect though. I bought my 4x4 for snow, not rock crawling so a lift is not really what I need... but for aesthetics I would like something slight bigger than stock.

Here's the most recent photo of my set up. Back is only weighed down with the bed/tent platform I built. So maybe only like 50-75lbs total back there:

**don't mind the "SR5" bedside decals. I had them made before I realized mine was just a SR.

Love your tacoma. I really want those wheels but they're hard to come by. Ironically, mine came stock with those wheels and my brother (original owner) didn't like them so he had the dealer swap them. I've been looking for a set since I've had the truck.

If it helps (or if you didn't already know) they are the Tacoma "Baja" wheels... may help in your search. Luckily mine came in black from the factory.

Also, just FYI, I do run a 3/4" BORA spacer with the wheels so they wouldn't have that 'look' just from the wheels from a stance point of view.
