Welcome to TW. Take you pick on mods. I would work on protecting the inside and out first IE floor liners, rock sliders ( if wheeling it). Nice Truck!

Icon Extended Travel Stage 1, Total Chaos UCA's, Dakkar leaf pack, Beefed DCLB Sliders with extended kickout and custom BSP, Beefed Custom exo-rear tube bumper, Toyota bed mat, tailgate theft mod. Front mudflaps removed, Access LE soft tonneau cover, Weathertech digital floor mat, Weathertech window deflectors, Weathertech license plate frames. future plans = diamond plate tailgate mod, Venture Shield, TRD supercharger...the dream goes on and on....
One problem so far...some how the rear headrest was put into the seat backwards...it got stuck on the dealership took care of it for me....dont put the headrests in backwards...

I am getting 16.5 on my first tank that I checked...but I have also been on the throttle quite a bit as the engine gets broken in. I suspect it will go up to 17-18 range.

No mods just yet. I need to jump on the lift and tires though. I need feedback for my wheel choices...

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/208989-feedback-my-wheel-choices.html

I ordered the long bed bed mat from camelback toyota. Thats my first add-on I suppose.

As part of the package, I am going back this week to get my Lowjack, front two windows tinted, the window deflectors, bug deflector, and all weather rubber mats.

It will be a daily driver, and woods goer. Not really huge into wheeling with my brand new truck....

I am curious though what is everyone towing with this thing? I am sure that it will pull my quad trailer with no problems, but anything else>?

When is the supercharger coming? this truck will be a raped ape when i get it! Stoked!

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
You can do the tailgate theft prevention mod for less than $1 depending on where you get the clamps and could save you hundreds. IMO it should hands down be everybody's first mod.

I don't know of any apps that can be added to the entune sytem, but if you have an android phone, you can get a bluetooth obd reader and use the torque app on your phone. If you want something more permanent, check out the Ultra Gauge and Scan Gauge threads.

They had to order them, go figure. I am very happy with it! it rides so much smoother than the cummins i had before, and i dont see 4.39 a gallon when i go to the pump! I have an iphone if anyone knows of any sweet apps to tag along with my taco that would be great.

Also i want a tonnau cover, heard mixed things about it working with the rail system in teh back....any ideas>

Welcome from your neighbour to the north on Vancouver Island!
With the amount of rain we get in this corner, i'd just leave the rubber mats in.

I haven't seen any bumbers/lightbars for the 12's yet, any pics of yours? I've had mine for about 3 weeks now.

Thanks! So far I love the truck. Curious on how the composite bed will hold up? Gashed and scratched and all. Still trying to get my internet sync with entune. The sound system rocks though!
