Yes. I went with a full Old Man Emu setup. My build thread has a few pics you can check out.

This was not a great picture, the left rear tire was on higher ground than the right so it looks a little more squatted than it was on pavement, but you get the idea.

Click on the nifty pic below to check it out.

Blocks are bad. They would just wear your springs out faster.

Just get the truck you want an try it. Chances are you wont need anything. If you do just add some ride rite air bags or a add a leaf or dakars.

Blocks cause axle wrap. The picture is showing axle wrap. It really stress’s the leaf springs.

A one inch block probably wouldn’t be that bad, but the taller the block the worse the axle wrap will get unless you got a traction bar or something.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Its got a half ton axle under and the ratings of a half ton truck 20 years ago. if u go back 40 years ago it would be pushing 3/4 ton territory. my dad has a 77 f250 351 4x4 and its only rated to tow 8k lbs. I've not towed much, but I did tow a camper back from the hunting club this year 80 miles that was pushin 5k lbs with no problem. it was squated a couple inches but never bottomed out.

Don't use blocks. They are straight horse shit/ junk/ garbage/ worthless. If anything you'll probably be best served with an AAL from a good company. Dakars are an entire leaf pack from OME out of Australia.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but who gives a shit? You don't decide whether or not to buy a Taco because of a head unit or some speakers. If that's how you are going about this process you are more wrong than a preacher fucking an alter boy with the choir singing backup.

Just confused on why you cared about his vehicle purchasing methods. Maybe he wants a slightly upgraded stereo in his truck, So he doesn't have to worry about it... its all done already. Or he's just trying to get as much info before he makes such a large investment.

In order to get the jbl you gotta get nav and entune. Costs about 2,000$$$ over the cost of the regular sport model. It is a great stereo an really cranks!
