Hello everyone! I’m a new member and it’s a pleasure to join such a knowledgeable group! I just got this 2019 Off Road Double Cab. Loving it so far! Lots to learn. Looking to get running boards and a tonneau cover for my first couple of mods

Welcome to TW. If you are considering going off road at all, you might want to look at sliders instead of running boards to save your rocker panels from damage while off roading.

I would forget the running boards unless you have short people or young kids. I am only 5 9" and if I put my foot on it getting in I have to duck under the roof to get in the truck.

This is my first truck and I don't plan on doing any serious off roading but you never know. From what I understand there are plenty of trails out here in Arizona (I'm relatively new to the area as well). I'm vertically challenged so I'm looking into running boards instead of rock sliders.

There are 0 degree step edition sliders available as well if you want a step up. Buy right, and buy once, if you are not sure where you are going with off roading, it may be a consideration, and save you having to buy twice on the future.

Running boards are good for old people too. get sliders or just don't bother with either if you don't have any of those 3 categories of passengers.

    Welcome aboard!

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and check with the vendors here for prices. I could have saved $40 on my boards and after wising up, got a great deal on my tonneau cover.
