Hello all, I just purchased my third Tacoma a red 2020 SR 4dr 4wd with 30k miles. I previously owned a 98 extra cab 4wd, 5spd manual and a 2016 Access cab 2wd auto, both in black. I love the practicality and utility of my Tacoma. Can’t wait to get more parts to upgrade this to an overlander. I wlll be looking to upgrade the suspension to take it off road as well.

Nice and welcome! I’ve gotta ask why you got rid of the ‘16 AC 2wd?

I found the v6 version was so much smoother drive and the 4dr was also roomier and less noisy. Something about the door seals on the AC made a noise on windy days. Got irritating on long drives.

Nothing wrong with the ‘16 AC cab, I was a making payments on the truck and realized, if I’m going to make payments, I wanted to get something I could take 4 wheeling, and also I upgraded to something with more bells and whistles like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. The v6 is a much smoother engine and ride as well. The 2.7L 4 was on the slow side and noisy, so the upgrade was worth it.
