Good Luck with that, I'm not sure the part name, but that part is probably going to have to be bought from Toyota directly.

I think it is 3M Scotch guard Paint Protective Film or similar to that, for the leading box edge of your truck to protect from rock chips, etc.

Yep - that's exactly what it is ...

I don't think there's a Toyota part number for that, even though it was commonly applied to the flares. Toyota's term for similar materials used on other areas / vehicles was 'anti-chipping tape'.

It wouldn't hurt to go to a dealership parts counter and ask if it's a numbered part or kit. It could end up being worthwhile to get it pre-cut to fit the flare contours. Otherwise, you can simply get some 3M clear chip protectant material (or XPel, or whatever), cut it to fit, and put it on as a replacement.

It was also applied as part of anti-chipping TSB's in years past. In some places it was a dealer-added item as part of their local prep or accessory package.

Thanks so much for the help everyone.....

At lunch I went down to the closest Toyota dealership and the part number i got was 58741-04010 for the right side and 58742-04010 for the left.

A simple google search got me,

    58740-04010

The dealership wanted $25 each and the only site i found that sells them is $16.47.

It does look like the same thing but even with the picture he showed me at the dealership I am not 100% sure.

My biggest issue now is getting the old one off and getting the new ones on. I was going to talk to someone in the colllesion department but had to get back to work...

    Thanks again for the info,

    Poe
