Hey guys, I have a 2010 4wd access cab with a front end level (spacer) and no fender flares. I was going to get 265/75's but someone at 4Wheel Parts told me I could fit 285/70's. I don't run fenders or mud flaps and I'm also getting new wheels 16x8 with a 3.6 bs. I think it might work but I've read through a lot of posts but I still can't seem to find an answer. Thanks in advance!

I have a 05 double cab and I run 285 70 17 but I have a 6 inch pro comp lift. Just looking at the tire sitting in there... I don't think it will fit, even with a front end level (spacer). Just my two cents

Secondary air filter removal, K&N drop in, Removed front mud flaps, Toyota all weather matts, skid plate, bug guard. Bilstein 5100's all around fronts set at 2.5", OME add a leaf, Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/70/17, stubby 6.5" antenna, smoked tail lights, blacked out badges.
265/75/16 will have no, to absolute minimal rubbing. Plus it looks killer with a level lift.

Thanks for the replies, from what a buddy told me most of the rubbing is on the fender flares and the mud flaps, which I took off. And with the added back spacing of the wheels I mentioned I figured the 265/75/16's would be fine, the guy at 4wheel parts said "I wouldn't run anything less a 285/70/16" and was very adamant about it. I'm not sure if he wanted the sale or if he knew what he was talking about. From what it sounds like though 285/70/16 will definitely rub and might not even fit so I'll probably go with the 265/75/16. Thanks guys!
