Newbie question on options

Hola, Newbie here.
I am planning on purchasing a Tacoma 4x4 off road. When I go on the Toyota website and "build" the tacoma, the only way to add the JBL sound system is to add the premium package which includes leather interior, sun roof etc. But if I look at local inventory on line quite a few show the JBL system with cloth interior. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

 

Dealers can spec out inventory different than the website “build your own” & “then we find one almost like it for you” function... also, build options vary region by region.

 

First it depends where you are looking because if it involves Gulf States or Southeast distributors all bets are off.
There were 2 premium packages for the 2018 OR double cab. There was option OC with fabric seats and option OF with leather seats.
The dealer was going to submit my "order" for option OC. He mentioned fabric so I had to correct them to use option OF for the leather.

 

You are seeing model years prior to 2019. Different packaging options.
