Hi all ... I've had some jeeps and an F150. What I really want is a 2001-2004 Tacoma double cab 6 cyl 4wd. I am blown away by the prices for trucks with as many as 200k + miles. I found one locally with 343k miles with price I can stomach. I'll want to do some basic reconditioning and some upgrades e.g wheels / tires etc.

I want this to be a daily driver for at least a couple of years and then maybe a weekend warrior.

Is this a bad idea? Would I be walking into a money pit?
