Picked up a 2009 Tacoma about six weeks ago after combing the Northeast for more than three weeks. Quickly realized once people buy them they really don’t want to sell/trade them in. I’ve spent the last four weeks ‘de-chroming’ her and finally have her looking the way I want. Now I’m on to the suspension…. Read many threads here and we’ll be going for the Blistein 5100’s all around. Here’s a few pics as she sits now. Love this 2009 MGM Tacoma, best truck and best looking truck I’ve ever owned.

Many thanks to all for the info I’ve pulled from the forums/threads!

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Welcome.

Nice looking truck and welcome to Tacomaworld. I have a double cab, but IMO, you have the best looking and most useful Tacoma of all the generations: 2nd Gen Access Cab LB. My son has a 2005 in that flavor and I'd trade him even for it if he ever proposed it.

Yeah I don’t do a lot of off roading, but we do have a lot of gravel roads up here. The bull bar hopefully will help to keep the deer, turkeys and whatever else decides to dart across the road out of my grill in the early morning/late night drives to and from work…
