Newbie, with a truck I bought a year ago.

Hi, people of TW. I could not afford a newer Tacoma, had to settle for a 2001 with almost
400,000.0 miles on it. Many things were in need of repair but it ran rather well. After
spending on it, more than I paid for it, I still have a problem I can't fix. "P0770" error code.
I know it's a "shift solenoid-E" and I have had it replaced, and, with a new connector. The check
engine light still comes on, then off ( 100 miles or so ), then on again, then off again. Can anyone offer any insight on my problem. I'll post a picture of it later but it's not pretty. Thank you, Deeky4X4.
