Just bought a '03 PreRunner SR5 Double a couple of days ago. We have a second home in N-Central FL - too far from our main home to reach it by car so we've been looking at something that is compact but still accommodates more than two people, has sufficient loading capacity for a normal household, has a good reputation for longevity and ..... is simply cool.
The only thing I am planning to add so far is a hard bed cover. Haven't found anything, yet, that looks good, keeps my stuff safe and doesn't cost a fortune. Any suggestions?
Still at the beginning of the learning curve so I'm happy I found this forum!

Nice! How much are you looking to spend total? You could go to autoanything.com - they have some good deals sometimes and you could just look at the different tonneau/bed covers they have there. My dad has a BAKflip triflip hard cover and its great. -also, did you want a "bed cover/tonneau" or a "bed cap"

I am looking for a tonneau / bed cover. Thanks for that link/thread. Got a wealth of information from that.

Looks like there is just one bed cover for my '03 Taco on the market that gives me some serious protection against theft. It's a pitty that the fold-a-cover G1Elite is no longer available. I don't know at what price they've sold these but I think these would have been at the upper end of my budget. The BAKflip does not seem to be a real alternative since it can be easily opened with a wire hanger.
Also, the undercover flex is not available for pre-05 Tacos so it all burns down to these roll-n-lock covers. These appear to be the upper end products but they cost much more than I had intended to spend.

Perhaps I'll do some research and wait for a good deal or find one in craigslist or ebay.
