    Hello Tacoma World!

I've just given birth to a 2012, Tacoma Prerunner. I'm pretty familiar with the engine specs, 2TR-FE, 2.7 4 cyl. I have a question regarding the timing chain/belt. Does this truck have a timing chain or timing belt. Older 2TR's seem to have a chain.

Looking forward to reading and participating in the group. Thanks in advance to your answer.

    Mike in Virginia
