Good forum thus far. I am working on a 2011 Tacoma PreRunner 4.0 for my granddaughter. I did some small repairs, added black round sidebars/steps, cruise control, and foglights so far. I've been using Cerakote to restore/coat the badly weathered black plastic trim. Easy, but needs to not get wet for a couple of days. I'll have to strip and recoat some places where the rain spotted the new finish. Cerakote has been great and very helpful. This truck came prewired and included fuse and relay for running/fog lights. The cheap aftermarket light I got had a switch that was for a truck that had to be wired and did not work with the factory wiring in place. The aftermarket switch does have indicator lighting and the factory does not. Fun truck and addictive.

Thank you for both the welcome(s) and the links. My son keeps trying to find ways to swindle his daughter out of her Tacoma but has failed at all attempts. My wife and I have also had such nefarious notions. I drive a 2006 Tundra and my wife has been hinting pretty hard about a Tacoma replacement. I'm pretty attached to my truck though. We'll see.
