Thanks for the addition. Recently purchased 2013 access cab, 5 speed manual for my soon to be 16 years old son.
Truck has some off-road mods, 3” lift to accommodate Hankook LT285/75R16 dynapro mt on oem 7jx16 et30 wheels, brushguard and kc spots. Looking to switch out tires/wheels for something a little less off-road that offers smoother ride.
Get the the tires and wheels sold and looking at Cooper discover at in 275/70 on 16” dick Cepek torques.
Truck runs great, 56k miles primarily used between previous owners home and truck terminal then for weekend hunting.
Be well and thanks for any input advice on teaching son to drive manual!!

Let him decide what wheels and tires he wants.

Most young guys don’t give two shits about a smooth ride. If we wanted a smooth ride we’d get something other than a truck.

Plus don’t sign him up for lug centric wheels without him knowing what a PITA they are.
