    Yeah trying to date right away is bad!!! It doesn't allow you to heal from the first situation and because you are trying to fill a void a lot of times you just get yourself into a bad situation.... take time for yourself and your daughter and let the rest fall into place....

    thanks for the advice. apparently everyone goes through similar feelings. i do talk about her alot, compare her to everything from girls to f'n trees!! i dont really feel heart broken, but just a touch upset that we couldnt work it out. oh well, chances are, I will live!! im sure of it. just confused as all hell right now. she has been through a divorce before, and they are pretty good friends NOW, not when they first got apart, so i definitely see what you are saying. i'll be fine, just trying to get out of my current job, its an absolute drain on my brain and body, aside from everything else going on. just wanted to see what everyones thoughts were, and i am happy with everyones input. thanks

    Fill me in I have an EX that I really can't stand. I work 24 hr call and she isn't very understanding about it. I hardly ever get my daughter been home almost 2 weeks now and have only gotten her 2 times from 7:30am to about 7pm.
