Newly Installed Flowmaster 44 Exhaust

    So as the title says I just installed a Flowmaster 44 on my 2012 DCLB PreRunner and notice a HUGE difference in the gas Consumption AGGGHHHH :eek: Any suggestions on how I can get better Gas mileage on my Truck now??? Besides getting rid of the exhaust?:confused:

    Change your driving habits your probably on the gas cuz you like to hear it

    Exhaust has nothing to do with it try easing off the throttle a little bit

    Well since it is just a cat back exhaust shouldn't you be getting mileage with the ability for more exhause to flow out?

    flowmaster's use a baffle system, which chokes the engine
    getting great sound, but lowering the efficiency of the engine

    isnt much you can do OP, other than get different tires
