Newly Lifted! Thanks TW

Hi all,

Texoma (Chris) lifted my Tacoma a few weeks ago and could not be happier with it! HIGHLY recommend having him do it if you aren't vehicularly savvy or don't have many tools and live around SE PA. He definitely knows Tacomas.

Are you rubbing anything with those spacers? I have the same size tires and they look a little small inside the wheel wells....spacers would be nice but I don't want to rub or cut anything.

 

I dont have any rubbing, what are your current rim specs? What are you rubbing on?

 

I'd have to dig them up, not sure. They're the stock Texas Edition wheels. I'm not rubbing now but I'm worried if I add spacers then I will start rubbing on something.

Let me see if I can find the specs on the wheels.....

 

If they are similar to trd sport or off road rims, I don't think you would have a rubbing issue

 

They have a +18mm offset.

 

How wide are they?

 

17x8

 

So thats a 5.71" backspaced 17x8 rim, with spidertraxx it'd be 4.46" backspaced, would work fine imo

5.2" backspace not 5.7. So with spidertrax you'll be at 3.95 and likely rubbing pretty bad
