I did long ago with the TRD Gen 1 intake. Made a nice difference. It cost $340. I would expect this to be in the same ballpark, performance wise.

I agree. Same design as the TRD.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, it all makes sense now! I'm gonna go cut off my exhaust and just weld on some 4" straight pipe all the way back.

I doubt it. It removes the charcoal filter, and thats what stops the CARB people from crying, and going on a destructive rampage...

Yup. The only street legal intake for a Taco is the Airaid bolt on cone filter crap thingy and the new style TRD.

Babytruck: Why do you want an intake anyway?

Little bit more power? Cooler air? Sound? I dunno. All of my cars intakes were changed. It's like a habit I can't break.

Little more power? Maybe. I would guess around 5 or so. Cooler air? Nope. Draws air from the OEM location. Sound? Yes.

I've had their older design on my truck since day one. Never had an issue with it. I'd recommend Airaid in a heart beat. But when I decide to spring for a snorkel I may have to upgrade my intake. Well played Airaid. Well played.
