Yeah I pretty much got the blower for rock crawling, I hear they work really good for that. I've tried the skinny pedal plan, and I got air. I'm not so much wanting to do that again!

On a serious note, of the Huntsville folks, Kyle has bumpers (but no 4wd right now...) and Brian has sliders (but no tires yet) so I think I'm the only moderately built one...

Unless Paul is bringing out his CJ. I didn't get a good look at anyone else's truck.

thats what I heard to, weird.

Burgman also used the skinny pedal today and got some sweet air. It was fun to watch but he somewhow busted his rear glass in the process

Lol, nice, how did that go? That I would have liked to go on, if it wasn't so far from here for a weekday.

Yeah, when I got air it necessitated a new skid plate and is probably the reason Matt is looking at getting my old coilovers rebuilt.

Honestly, if it wasn't for having coilovers and ucas, I think I would have done real damage to my truck.

It was a mudhole with a few different ruts and he strattled it and then it dropped off and he hit the hole and went flying. Landed really hard, I could hear it 40 yards away. Luckily he had a nice thick skid plate, I would guess ATO, but the skid was perfectly fine and did its job well.

    I agree

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    Paul's CJ? What CJ

And sometimes you just gotta ignore some people on this site. Some people have 4wd and think they are better than everyone else. I happen to think that if you plan on making your daily driver your "hard core offroading rig" you have to make sacrifices, usually in favor of the daily aspect of the vehicle. I'll accept any jokes and jabs anyone wants to make about having a lifted prerunner. I like the way it looks and it makes me happy. Who else does my money need to impress? So as far as offroading goes, my daily driver will be pulling whatever offroad vehicle I have behind it. My two cents on the arisen issue in this thread.

Haha you said jabs lol!!! But no I dont think the issue had anything to do about the choice of vehicles you choose to have, but was overwhelmingly about the total ass hat Larry was. Anyhow all is said and done so lets get this thread back on track!!

I may be up for going somewhere more north and less hardcore. I haven't wheeled my truck enough to want to jump straight into trails that require lockers and a winch, I'd rather ease in a little.

Especially if it was Sunday so I could still mountain bike :D

I'm scared with my current build! Nice video and wheeling thou.

I have good sliders, but no skids or locker. Lifted 2" right now, but could crank them for a ride as long as my csv angles didn't get to bad. Rear would still be TSB height. I would consider getting a block for the rear as a temp until I get around to new leafs.

Paul said if we had an OHV meet, he would swap his tires for the day.

I would definitly disconnect swaybar, but still would be scared for front and rear bumpers and undercarriage.

Parker, MM and Mountainside are out of the question for this crew..trust me. Tripp laid his 4Runner on its side last time and if I'm going to fuck something up on either of my rigs, I'd prefer it to be local for the time being. To be honest, we would do better on some homegrown trails, a big ass hot meal, and some heavy duty drinking with camping thrown in.

    a lot lol
So basically everyone knows what happened at the last meet, if it weren't for JO I would of had to call a wrecker. But I would prefer to be local also, I wouldnt mind driving a little bit though.
