I swear it looks like most of the vehicles nowadays cater to middle-aged city women.

Poor pathfinder...I bet it maxes out on a gravel driveway.:p

i saw an episode of autoweek recently, and they said 62% of new cars are purchased by (or the purchase decision is decided by) women. i couldn't believe this statistic was true, but i've now seen it elsewhere so...obviously nissan is paying attention to that statistic. how else could you explain this? i am betting you will see more and more of this now.

Yeah...the reason SUVs were big and CUVs are even bigger is because the real reason American Dads wanted them is they could haul the kids to soccer practice without having to look like their nuts had been completely removed by driving a mini-van. Don't get me wrong: They're still nutless. They just didn't want it that obvious.

In other words, they wanted a mini-van, but with a little more aggressive front end. Well, now they're getting it...in spades.

It's funny, because we're seeing the market diverge back to where it was in the late 80s/early 90s...you have body on frame, live axle TRUCKS for DOING WORK, and you have cars (gussied up a little maybe, but they're still cars) for toting your kids to school or picking up groceries.

Congrats, auto industry. You've re-discovered the station wagon.

    This here:

Women generally have most of the decision making power in most households. If the husband makes an unlicensed expenditure, he doesn't get poon for however long his punishment period is.

    Remember kids: Don't get married.

I guess I should send my girlfriend packing now before it's too late ha! :p

This whole generation of SUV's/CUV's all look like offspring of 90 degree angle plastic boxes and chrome paint cans. Even if I did repurpose one for off road, I'd feel like such a gooch driving it.

Best approach is to keep a stable of fuck buddies. Plenty of sex, no having to remember birthdays, meet families, etc.
